A Note to my Fellows

A note I sought to write, to exhort therewith
But what shall I write, what shall I say to my fellowlabourers?

A man I but am, and what in the future lies I cannot see
But this I pray for, yea this is my plea

That you ever remember the Lord that has been your guide
He that is a covert, in which from the storms you may hide

And remember though trials may come distress
And Satan his temptations sorely press

Yet the Lord by thy side still does stand
And through thorny ways He still leads to a joyful end

Oh may you ever be found in Him, not having your own righteousness
But ever clothed truly with His likeness

That the glory of Christ be indeed ever seen upon you
May this be your goal, and with your whole heart this do pursue

May your life ever be an expression of the thought of God
You shall not err if you walk where your Saviour trod

Follow on, yea follow on I plead
Follow on where ever He does lead

May your life ever to the world this truth confess
That God deserves our all, unreserved surrender and nothing less

Let us ever declare like Paul
"But by the grace of God I am what I am:"

And may His grace which was bestowed on you not be in vain
Abide in Him, yea in Him continually remain

"Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the
God of love and peace shall be with you"

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost be
with you all. Amen."
